tempest
"your facade can't disguise the fact that you're in misery"
the basics,
»»character full name: Tempest.
»»age: 7 years.
»»gender: Female.
»»sexual orientation: Heterosexual.
»»position: Council.
»»species: European Timber Wolf.
»»pack/clan: Titan.
the appearance,
»»eyes: A vibrant green.
»»markings/mutations: Has two scars across her nose and a scar across her right eye. The fallout has given her venom in her bites and scratches(stinging sensation), which can temporarily cause paralysis. She is immune to venom.
»»height: 30 inches.
»»weight: 164 pounds.
»»general appearance: Tempest has surprisingly not changed color since the effects of World War III. She looks like a completely normal European timber wolf, except for the fact that her eyes are a magnificent bright green. Harmless, don't you say? It's anything but. Those eyes tell others not to mess with her. Standing 32 inches tall with a pretty bulky build for a female, she only the stupid or the cocky try to tango with her. She has powerful shoulders and legs, all the better for hunting down prey ...and other wolves. Her fur consists of a series of gingers and oranges, with a white underbelly, inner legs, chest, throat, and muzzle. Across her back is a mix of greys, whites, and blacks, while her face has some black on it up until the nose, which is that ginger and orange color.
the personality,
»»likes: Making deals, midnight hunting, and assassination.
»»dislikes: Liars, cheaters, and thieves.
»»general personality: Tempest could be described as malicious, sinister, cruel, or in sense; "evil". She does enjoy watching wolves fight to the death, heck she just loves death all together. She is far from the voice of reason and justice, and will frankly attack anything and anyone if she can. Chaos is her thing. When cities or packs crumble into glorious chaos, she can't help but let out a cynical laugh. However, when it comes to her pack, chaos is a no when matter must be dealt with. Be chaotic with your foes, and not your allies. Save that for when there is no one else left.
She however, does have her loving and happy side, as she does have a soft spot for pups, if they aren't the enemies or betrayed her in some way. Although her happy side doesn't much change from any other side, you can tell when she is in a good mood from the bad. She does take the time to train young and share stories, and not all her stories are filled with blood, gore, and utter chaos. She will tell the stories of fine victories and, of course, your scary monster story. She does have some kindness in her heart, it is just really, really, deep.
the history,
»»mother: Sassafras.
»»father: Tinger.
»»siblings: Scorchedfrost.
»»others: N/A
»»background: " "Hey Cipher! I'm gonna get you!" called Tempest as she ran over and tackled the other pup. "Whatcha doing??" She looked into the hazel brown eyes of Cipher. He pushed her off and shook his fur.
"Stop ruffling my fur! I JUST had it washed before you showed up, loser." He saw the hurt look in Tempest's eyes. He sighed and sat down. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it."
Six years ago, we knew the World War was affecting everyone and everything with it, but we didn't know how bad it would affect any of us. Sassafras had always told us to be aware of the other wolves around us, and to be careful when we played together. How were we supposed to know that we'd be a danger to ourselves? All we knew that we would be brother and sister, until the very end.
"I wish mom would let us go play outside. It can't be that bad can it?"
"Mom's rules go. Ever since dad left she's been put in charge. You don't disobey the leader, Tempest."
I knew he was right, but the temptation to go outside and play in the sun was great... We never knew the sun. It was just a magically, mysterious, bright object that brought life. To be out in it for five minutes would have been a dream come true...
"Hey, mom's back!" said Tempest as she galloped over to her. "Did you find any food!?" Her mother dropped two mice on the ground.
"Eat up, dearies. We're going on a journey..."
"To where?" asked Cipher through a mouthful of food.
"A safe place, my children. A safe place..."
Safe was the last word to describe this place. As we walked through this ghastly looking area, I couldn't help but huddle close to my mother. She greeted another wolf, and they started talking. Eyes were everywhere, and I couldn't help but feel that we were in serious danger.
"So, it is done then. Leave them here and we'll train them well. You've made a great choice for your... mate."
Sassafras nodded briskly, and glanced down at her pups. "You must stay here now. I'll be back, I promise."
It's been six years since I've last her. And four years since I've seen Cipher.
"Where are you going!? You can't leave me here!" screamed Tempest as she saw Cipher disappear into the fog. He turned to look at her.
"I'll be back soon. I swear on my life, Tempest." With that, he was gone as quickly as the fog had sucked him in.
I was beaten and raped for a year and some. They threatened me with everything. 'Where did he go? We'll kill you if you don't tell us!' and so on. I told them the same thing, over and over. I didn't know, and I never will know. I was almost three years old when I discovered my mutation. The one wolf who was a guard tried to... 'have his way' with me, but I bit him in the shoulder. Within minutes he fell to the floor, paralyzed. I was stunned, and I saw opportunity for revenge. I slashed him across the face, and beat him to a wimping pulp. It was then I killed him.
Tempest stared down at her foe. He lay there motionless and zombified, horror reflecting in his eyes. A growl rose from her throat, and she launched her jaws to his skull, squeezing until it broke through and crushed his brain. It was then another guard came, and called the big guys.
I was held prisoner for three days, with no food or water. The council came, and it was overruled I be used as a slave and used as an assassin, because I look.. 'normal' and I have a deadly bite. I slowly made my way to the top; the wolves that had tortured me had passed, and I rank high within my pack. Life was good. Then, he returned.
"Cipher...?"
"Scorchedfrost."
"You've changed quite dearly. Your fur is vibrant red, and your eyes are... a dangerous blue..."
He was gone within moments. He left before anyone could see him. So here you've my life story, what do you think of it? " Tempest looked down at the pups. They looked at her expectantly.
"That was so cool! You're so awesome!"
"And DANGEROUS!"
"Wahh... You're scary!"
Chuckles erupted, and story was over.
